Dawes recently collaborated with The Killers on “Christmas in L.A.,” The Killers’ eighth consecutive Christmas single for (RED). While the song is available to buy exclusively on iTunes, with all proceeds from the song’s sales going to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Dawes and The Killers have partnered with independent record stores around the country to give away a limited quantity of white label vinyl copies of “Christmas in L.A.,” which will never be available for purchase. Each participating store will have six pieces of vinyl to give away and during the 12 days leading into Christmas, Dawes will announce one store a day where the records will be available. To win, follow Dawes on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram and after the band announces the store of the day, be one of the first six people to arrive at the record store and wish an employee of that store a “Happy Holidays from Dawes and The Killers” to win a copy of “Christmas in L.A.” on vinyl. All participating stores will be announced on their respective date, beginning December 13th.
